Hi All,

I have a question regarding the FB-4 category visa. Is USCIS stopped accepting new applications. If not can I apply for my brother now? What happens to existing applications if they stop this visa in CIR.

Thanks

If CIR bill pass in the house and it becomes a law then you will have another 18 months to apply for your sibling. Again, If CIR bill enact most chances for the existing petitions are rapid processing. I mean it ll be easier and faster processing. If CIR doesn't pass still now nothing loose for the existing petitions.

Interview Experience
we went from hotel to shuttle service at 6:20 AM.
we were in the first shuttle.
passed many security checks.
than we were at Number 5 in immigration line.
first we were called for finger printing.
than we were instructed to wait in waiting area.
than our number was called and we went there , Pakistani guy asked us to submit new tax return , but we submitted new I-864 as well.

than he took signature from me , that I won't marry before getting VISA.
he told me to collect visa package from their service in karachi , if got visa.

and he said , sir will decide if he is giving you visa right now or later.

than we went back to seats , waited for another 10 minutes,
than we were called.
this time it was young 30-35 years old white American.he was doing the interview in very fast speed.he was polite and friendly.

we went to window. he said hello. we replied hello.
than he said to us are you comfortable in English?
we replied yes.
than he took oath from us that you won't lie and if you did you will be banned permanently to enter USA.
we took oath.

than he asked following question ?And I helped my mother in whole interview, I was also giving answers.

who petitioner you?
my sister
who sponsored your sister?
her husband
from how much time she is in usa?
from more than 27 years.
where she works and at what position?

yes he is LPR.
we also told him that my grandmother , mother of my mother was also LPR green card holder.

what does your husband do ? with my mother
I am divorced
why were you divorced because divorce is not common in Pakistan?
his mother and sister played role.

I interrupted , and I said divorce is common in Pakistan.

CO said no I don't agree it is not common in Pakistan , it is common in United states.

than CO asked from me , why your birth certificate is made in 2008 ?

I said it is made from NADRA , that's why , but I also have old one too.

he said can you show me.
I said yes , than he took divorce certificate and my birth certificate and went inside and discussed the case with other officers inside.

he came back and viewed album provided by us of petitioner and my mother together.

than he kept quiet for a while and was writing something in computer.
than he said , OKAY Congrats !
Your Visas are approved , you will get your visas within 7-10 days from our service in Karachi.

In last , he joked with us.

we had too many documents that why he said that.

what I have noticed that he knew everything about the case before.
he was just checking us.
and he was giving lot of respect to us.

and I would like to say here, tell everything true to CO.
because they hate cheating.
and they are also very cautious about Name spellings and Date of births and other dates.
their concern is Valid relationship.

he was satisfied with us , because we went there with all proper documentation.

What are my chances of getting a non-immigrant visa while my petition is pending with June 2007 PD?

I have had 3 previous visits on B1/B2 to USA 2 of which were after approval of my above mentioned petition. Was granted 3 months entry each time but returned to home country back after 3-4 weeks.

M married managing my own business in Africa while wife and 3 kids are in Pakistan.

All of my family (Mother, Brother and Sisters) are in USA and US Citizens.

My previous B1/B2 expired in June 2011 and am planning to visit my mother. Want to know of any negative points which could affect my B1/B2 application.

Comments are welcome and appreciated in advance

If you already have submitted all originals to NVC; you are only required to submit recent PCC and tax returs and medical. Also take with you new and old photographs of petitioner and applicant, just to prove the relation.

If embassy needs any other specific dcument from you;they would mention it in interview letter.

Your B1/B2 visa has nothing to do with immigrant visa. Both are simply different categories and they dont effect each other.

I myself applied for B1/B2 visa and have visited thrice. The only way it would affect you is when you overstay your visit. Otherwise their are no possible side effects to your immigrant visa watsoever.

Thanks

GOD BLESS
