From what I can tell from the vj time-lines on Ghana there have been only 4 cr1 interviews scheduled in 2010. One in January, one in February, one in March, and one for October. If I can remember correctly, I believe the October interview resulted from an expedited request. Bottom line - it is quite pathetic. This is coming from someone who is just waiting for an NOA2. I figure that my husband won't have an interview until 2012. As you know we have written to everyone we can think of with out any success or encouragement. It's as if no one is listening or cares - so we wait. The good news for you is that you are further along than I am and hopefully will hear something before the end of the year. Apparently, the embassy in Accra is busy with lottery visa interviews that must be completed by the end of September. I guess things will start to happen after that point. We just need everyone to keep their time-lines up to date so that we can understand what is happening.

My prayers go out for you and the rest of us who are waiting in the love line - well, I'm not quite in it yet. I'm still in the hallway waiting for a number. Peace.

Staying strong and patient in love and faith!

Lori, I have been waiting since December 2, 2009 and still no inteview. I believe there are people who have been waiting since October last year and haven't had an interview yet. Base on the situation on the ground, we should expect an interview in the early part of next year. In fact, this is most painful experience I have ever had in my entire life but the Lord said we count it all joy so I will make the best out of this situation.

My wife's case was completed at NVC on December 2, 2009. Could someone tell me how long it would take for her to be schedule for an interview at Accra consulate?

Our case was also completed in November, 2009...still waiting for interview date. Our son is 18 months old & I'm yet to hold him in my arms. It's simply unbelievable. But in all this we're more than victorious through the one (Christ) who died for us!

Hello everyone. I think that I am the CR-1 interview in October for the US Embassy in Ghana. I have been EXTREMELY busy in getting ready for this interview and my flight to Ghana. This year with Ghana having so many Visa lottery winners they could not handle the load...also being short staff...my emails to the embassy went from 9 weeks to respond to not 2 days. They are also promising to have visas ready within a week of the interview. I will be in Ghana close to a month. I will give details on the interview process because I will be there first hand.
