Hi all,

In application for Family based Green Card (USC Child and alien mom), is there validy time line set to the beneficiary's Birth Certificate?

For an example, does it have to have been obtained from official Vital office in her native country within 6 months or something like that?

I have an original BC obtained from the city office which was also translated and certified but it came from January 2008. Could I still send that in?

Your original birth certificate was created shortly after you were born... it remains valid forever unless you are "born again."

YMMV
