Money Transfer proof in Ghana

I am torn if I should send proof of money transfer or not for the interview. The money was sent for medicals, visa fees, and police clearence but there is no way for the embassy to know that from the reciept- (maybe I should have added that in the notes- too late!)The dates sorta line up since its just a few months before the interview.

Since I havent sent him only money one time before this- but dont have anything from it- before I knew we were gonna go through this.... so this is the only one we have and will have for the interview.

Have any recent Ghana interviews or west africa brought this type of proof with them and did it cause any issues?

I am just afraid they will see it as bad.

Any thoughts-

Thanks!

Its so hard- will they think we are just supporting our loved ones or 'buying them'. Like I said it was only once- and for VISA things. I wish I had made a comment- I know its not official but at least it would add something... With the whole process so costly it makes sense that we would be helping them out with at least the VISA things. IDK!

AHHH!! Oh Ghana why are you so difficult to deal with.

Good question indeed. I was wondering the same thing when I was gathering documents before I submitted our petition. I chose not to submit the receipts, however, because I felt that it would raise eyebrows, and they would think I was supporting him (nope just helping family, just like I help my family here in the states).

Would be curious to know if anyone has submitted receipts and what the outcome was though.

Thats how I feel. Even though its my fiance and not husband yet- he is my family! He just finished school and hasnt started working yet. I just finished school as well- but in the USA it is much more common to work and go to school/as I am now in Grad school too- so I have some savings- where he hasnt been working during school. I feel that the evidence we have compiled is enough. I think I will have him tuck it away in the extra copies folder of stuff i gave him- JUST IN CASE. But not to show it as primary evidence because it really isnt about our relationship but getting him here!

Having a co-sponsor for me is also a problem because they are going to probabally say- if she can send you this money why does she need a co-sponsor- AND the only way I can send the money is because I am still living with my parents.... AHHH! lol
