OK, I filed the I 130 over a year ago, and it was approved. After that I filed the I 29F and was approved and my wife is now in the US on a K3 visa. So my question is, does the I 130 expire? We havent even begun the process to adjust status yet, but my wife seems to think that her I 130 expires next month. Is this true?

For visa purposes, NVC will hang on to it for up to one year. For adjustment of status purposes with the USCIS (from K-3) you are fine.

YMMV

So my understanding is that once she was approved for the K3 we have 2 years to adjust status? Even though her I 130 was approved 11 months ago?
