I hope someone can answer my question...My fiance is from Nigeria, he is finishing grad school in Cyprus. He will be interviewing in Cyprus. My question is are we to follow the instructuons for the Cyprus Embassy because that's where he will be interviewing or should we be looking at the Nigerian Embassy even though he will be in Cyprus? Does that make sense? for some reason I started quesitoning it tonight after looking at all the paperwork I have gathered so far but I am bsing it on the Cyprus US Embassy....

You will follow the instructions and the procedures as established by the consulate where the interview takes place. The Cyprus consulate only knows there own process and does not know the process used in any other country (nor do they care).

YMMV

I think you have to follow the procedures and the instructions of Cyprus Embassy, but they might ask him for a police certification from Nigeria. Good luck!!!

Thanks so much guys! I don't even know why I questioned it, but I'd rather do that then to assume otherwise.

As far as, his police report, he has one from Nigeria and Cyprus so we are covered for both places.
