Sorry, I support women's rights, women's rights to choose. I do not think a bunch of old white men should be telling women what they can do with their bodies, obviously we disagree and you do. I do not think a prostitute is a bad person, you do. I do not think women's bodies are dehumanizing or obscene, you do. I support their right to free speech even if I don't like what they say. I am not willing to restrict MY right to choose in order to restrict someone else's right to choose and that would include my daughter and definitely includes my sons.

I've got an on-topic question here. I know, generally, making comments about spouses is off limits. However, if someone is constantly bragging about their spouse, and posting pictures, does that put them into the public realm for comments, good or bad?

Slim, you and Gary still continue to miss the point. You and your ilk love to brag about your wives and how hot they are, blah blah blah. The rest of us while i'm sure have lovely spouses don't feel the need to post such info or brag about it. Neither do we feel that this is a defining characteristic of either us, or our marriages.

I never insulted anyones wife, I merely said that I find my wife more physically attractive than someone elses wife. You are the ones who took this as an insult, and you are the ones who aparently are defined by the physical characteristics of your wives. Sad really.

Gary, if you will not give your opinion on what YOU would think on your OWN BEHALF and not ON BEHALF of ALL OLD WHITE MALES, how can anyone possibly know what your OPINION is? I was quite clear that I was asking for PERSONAL OPINIONS, I was not trying to FRAME public policy on what SHOULD BE acceptable LEGALLY or even ethically. The whole purpose of the thread was to explore people's ethics and if the ethics held consistent across the board or do users of prostitution have to hold two contradictory opinions in order to justify its use.

MY PERSONAL OPINION IS that prostitution relies on dubious ethics. IF men really do think it is acceptable to bang a women whether or not she is aroused that is DUBIOUS both ETHICALLY and I might add physically damaging. It seem unlikely to me that a man who has a reasonable grasp on responsibility would in fact bang an unaroused women in the course of casual sex (OUTSIDE OF PROSTITUTION) because that's getting dangerously close to rape. Now I am aware that a prostitute knows how to take care of her ####### by applying gels and lubricants, and I am sure that this is an accepted part of the prostitution/john process. I also believe that prostitutes have at least taken a cursory look at their own view on being banged without the NORMAL arousal that comes with two willing participants in the sex act. However to ASSUME that a woman you want to BANG casually outside of prostitution is anticipating that a man will totally ignore her sexual needs and urges is EXTREMELY cynical and UNETHICAL and in the worst case scenario demonstrates psychopathic tendencies.
