If my daughter worked in a high-end place, made good money, had a nice car with a driver/bodyguard, etc., of course I would be happy for her and I'd probably brag to more than a few people that my daughter was a successful prostitute.

However, if she worked in seedy motels for a pimp that beat her or was trafficked to a foreign land and force-fed narcotics... no, I probably wouldn't be happy for her. In fact, I'd probably pull a TAKEN on that #### and wreck shop to get her back.

The key here is that she's successful at her job - not that she's a prostitute. What most of you are doing is saying no matter how successful a girl can be, she's still a prostitute and that's a bad thing. That's simply not true. In some places, prostitutes have the highest standard of living amongst their peers. What parent wouldn't be proud of their kid if they were able to do that?

Saying someone failed as a father because their daughter becomes a prostitute isn't accurate. In fact, it could be a great success!

It's a certain type of individual who would find having a daughter who sells her body for sex something to "brag" about (not to mention having "friends" who would appreciate said bragging).

If it's tough for you then you have some very odd standards. The sex industry is manual labour with severe health risks without the certainty of procuring enough income to provide for retirement (assuming that most prostitutes are forced to 'retire' by around 40 -if they are lucky).

Most women who would be able to command high prices are not that likely to believe that prostitution is the best way to sell their looks - even if prostitution might be considered more 'honest'.
