NOA2 USCIS Email 1 Week After Approval

We got our NOA2 approval yesterday July 21, it took a week after approval to get the email. WE RECEIVED THE NOA2 on JULY 21, 2010 by EMAIL, BUT the USCIS approval date was July 14, 2010, so your may already be approved, too. Good news is once you get the approval that's one week less waiting time towards interview. USCIS email and case status are 1 week behind actual approval.

This may have been true in your case. Some people get the email and online system update the same day, or the following day. Some people wait much longer. Some people's fiancees have already gotten the visa, come to the US, married, and gotten their green card, and they're still waiting for the NOA2 email and online system update. It seems the emails and online system are not directly connected to the computers that contains the real USCIS records, and the data entry clerks are neither timely nor thorough. That's my theory, anyway.

We got our hard copy of NOA2 last july 19,2010 but the notice was dated July 12,2010..we also didn't receive any emails yet..what does it imply then??..thanks..
