After receipt of NOA2, when is the interview?

Hi fellow VJ members,

I have read many posts with hundreds of questions and can't seem to find the simple answer to my question.

We have not received the NOA2 yet, but are expecting to hopefully in August.

My fiance is coming to visit me in September and stay until October (1 month). After receipt of the NOA2, will we schedule the interview at the US Embassy in France or will he receive a letter specifying a date/time which is assigned to him?

I'm sure the answer is out there somewhere, but I cannot find it.

first your fiancee will receive a packet 3 and after sending some of the forms back to the embassy and then he/she will get a packet 4 specifying when will the interview will be.

they send you a paper in packet #4 telling you the date and time. if you need to change it, do it as soon as possible by phone or fax
