OK, we just got the NOA today, and in this NOA, it says

"REQUEST FOR APPLICANT TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW"

....at first, we thought that was the "final interview notice" and got all excited,

but then

it states, "INITIAL"!!??

are they thinking we are suspicious or something???

what does this mean!?

If anybody got "INITIAL INTERVIEW" before, can you tell us what that was?

Thank you for your help! :help:

take all originals ( Birth Certs, Marriage Liscense, passports)

Also bring all NOA's and letters received from USCIS

Natasha just got her NOA and it says initial also, I thought that meant we have to go twice, it seems to quick for us to be near getting a green card.

I hope you are still reading this...

about the timeline:

1) Go to AOS Timeline

2) Search for NYC AOS/EAD/AP

3) Look for "Tomo and Mike"(that's us)

We just updated yesterday (8/11/2006)

so it should be in the top page still.

Allrighty? I hope this helps :innocent:

PS:Say Konnnichiwa to your wife!!
