I was kinda lost to what main I was playing (I got many a toon up to the 60s) but once I met him, I gained a new focus and we were the 'kammy kouple' in our clan

Not to sound like a computer illiterate...but what is a MMO?

Nevermind...I Googled it. lol. My husband and I met on Second Life. We played and cyber dated for about 2 yrs, but met after about 8 months.

We met on a game online, but I wouldn't describe it as massively multiplayer...it's actually a text based game of the genre which was a fore-runner to WOW and similar - a MUD (Multi-User Dungeon - yep, after Dungeons and Dragons)

I started playing in 2002 with some friends of mine to keep in touch after graduation, he had been playing before that, but we didn't start talking to each other until 2007, so we've known of each other for a lot longer than the genesis of our relationship might suggest.

We actually met during the beta testing of a game called R.O.S.E.. We played the p2p version, but eventually, the company that administered the game in Europe went bankrupt and got bought out by a Phillipines company. We tried playing on the phillipines server, but to be perfectly honest, the blatant racism and xenophobia of the Filipino people on that game was too much to take, so we went to WoW.
