Good evening,

I am noticing that the Lagos embassy is scheduling appointments as far out as November already. My question is, do they give different priorities and interviews for fiance visas vs. marriage visas?

azuomaobidiya i will say yes.fiance visas does not stay as long as marriage approals stays with nvc before sending to their arious consulate and as you will know that fiance appointment is been giing by the usem of the choice of applicant, however the usem fix fiance interview when it suits them and probably may be because of number of application on ground.while the marriage application stays longer at nvc for document collection for the usem of choice and schedules interview for the embassy and this has also reduced the workload on the applicants document collection.

for now i will say cr/1 interview is more faster than the k/1 isa.hope it helps

e.g case was completed 1st of july and recived interview for aug.
