K-1+B-2=OH-BOY

Hi,

My wife is a K-1, who just filed for an AOS.

My friend is asking me to send her an invitation for a B-2. (my friend lives in Russia)

This raises a few questions:

1. Can the fact that I am sending an invitation affect the processing of my wife's I-485? (ie: why is he asking all these women to come into the country? is he able to sponsor them all?)

2. I have seen in one place that the invitation is an informal letter, with no strict format, (though it should state that you assume responsibility for the applicant and will cover her in case of financial difficutly, etc.). Is this so or does official paperwork have to be filled out?

3. If she wants to visit in January, how soon does she need to apply?

4. My friend is a female in her early 20s, unmarried, without children, visiting a friend for no special reason. What are the chances of them letting her into the US?

A 20 yrs old single female from Russia with no apperant relation, other then friend and a friend who is willing to sponsor all the expense. Makes it a high risk case with chances that this femal would violate her non-immigrant status.

Chances of getting a visa are very low.
