I am greencard holder, I can apply for citizenshhip in this July. My spouse's DS-230 will send to NVS this July. If the NVC will give the US Citizen's spouse preference (priority) over a greencard holder spouse's(ds-230 and VISA interview /Visa Issue ), or both both Citezen & green card holder will get same priority.

My priority date 2007 January. Country India. Consulate Chennai. AOS & VISA fee paid.

Please give me some advice. Thnk you.

Jacob, Michigan, USA.

there is no difference at this point in time, but you can become a USC if you want to. your're already receiving the paperwork for your wife, so there is no difference.

there would be if she still had a lot more years of waiting until the priority date became current.

I agree with the above statement. Since your priority date is current there should not be any difference.
