running away is the english way?

Of course ! shooting the policeman dead and spending the rest of your life in a small concrete cage - or being put up in front of a firing squad in Utah is the American way

Naturally, the English way is better.

At the risk of returning to the original topic: 75% of those arrested during the riots were from out of the area, according to KRON, as they showed the arrest of a particularly stubborn redheaded anarchist...

oh well I specialise in redheads - or I used to do..

Most of em don't feel pain when you smack em over the head with a night stick or put cigs out on the back of their necks.

Can't subdue them - all you can do is perform the viking spread eagle on them

---and wave good hempen rope at others of their following

WE have been doing this to redheads since 800 ad

it's really the fault of the british

Indian Chief ‘Two Eagles’ was asked by a white government official, 'You have observed the White man for 90 years. You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done.'

The Chief nodded in agreement. The official continued, 'Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the White man go wrong?'

The Chief stared at the government official for over a minute and then calmly replied. 'When White man find land, Indians running it....no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, fishing, clean water.

Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing, all night having sex.'

Then the chief leaned back and smiled. 'Now who was dumb enough to think he could improve system like that?'

Just finished the washing up - cleaning cat boxes and ironing a shirt for tomorrow

I need a squaw - an old time squaw - I bet these modern squaws would give me as much gob as all the other women..

They were a bit hippy though I reckon - apart from mini haha. She was called mini because she was small and had a slim batty. They used to rub em down with seal blubber to keep em warm. That's better than paying for electric and my mother used to say that only dirty people took baths.

My granny's first husband was an American - born in New York - but being a Yorkshire woman his heart gave up after a few years of trying to keep up with her wink wink

America is going the same way as Europe at the same pace or faster. I don't mean economically or even redistributionwise - I mean being tabbed and tagged and watched and monitored and poor Elmo can't drink pepsi in California.

You can't have an affair with someone who works for you now. Jeez what's the point of being the big boss or a priest now ? They take the fun out of everything - bunch of kill joys.

I wanted fish and chips in dripping in Victoria Canada and she said it's illegal !

President Clinton can go with all these hookers and risk all these diseases but I cant have batter made with tallow ?

I am going to build a steel bubble and live in it on the sea bed in the gulf. No politicians, no taxes, no town council and everything powered by dolphins in huge hamster wheels

I realise this is a bit unimaginative but I don't start the wine till I find my black adder dvd's and settle down

Oh Alan.

Since I can't get Pepsi in California, and I'm a bit of an old-fashioned girl (my potty mouth notwithstanding), take me with you in your steel bubble. I'll help tend the dolphins, and I'll make you fish and chips in tallow every night.star_smile.gif

Fish and chips, you bastards are making me crave some.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

...and no back chat when I turn the channels ?

and proxy vote according to my directions ?

and clip the dolphins nails ?

and polish the bubble (only inside, I am not unreasonable and it is a mile deep)

and no watching black and white chick flicks when I am in the garage - I might return unexpectedly

and while I am snoozing, you need to monitor all forums on VJ to make sure there are no American supremacists mooching around spreading this evil rumour that 1776 was a good thing..

warning : this may or may not be a complete set of duties and you may go blind or develop collapsed vertebrae or loss of bowel control or severe dolphin allergies and you totally absolve me from any liabilities pertaining to these but not limited to these events and you seek no monetary compensation - only the fruits of my loins..

Yes, lovely cod and proper chips, with malt vinegar, all fried up in beef fat. Maybe some mushy peas.

I was thinking a few pieces of Barramundi or flake, chips [naturally], potato cakes, dim sims.

Beef fat? Mushy peas. WTH! No wonder it tasted so odd in the UK.

Happy to sign, seal and deliver, but I would like to amend the following points (ahem):

*My cat comes with me

*There must be an infinite supply of Cole Zero

*I do not agree to loss of bowel control

Make these amendments and I'm yours in the bubble.star_smile.gif

yes beef fat - dripping - tallow

excellent - total protection against long term nursing care as partakers pop their clogs at age 59 max

Never ever under any circumstances, eat fish and chips south of sheffield - girly cod there instead of icelandic haddock as eaten by Eric Bloodaxe King Of York and Mrs Bloodaxe and the Bloodaxe children.

mushy peas - caviar of the north and the inspiration for mustard gas in WW1
