Well, she went in with a pink slip, and left with a pink slip. They told her to come back in a week. She said some people who came in with pink left with blue.

No reason, I think they might have just ran out of time, or the visas weren't ready yet.

And I agree, it's a waste of time and money. But we just gotta look to the finish line...

She received her visa after waiting until nearly 5 pm. They had a sort of "last call" for those with pink slips, and they took it and rummaged around and produced a visa.

I know your feeling. We had the same situation last month when waiting for 3 weeks for visa issuance.
