hello

i have a question(s) concerning the AOS interview etc.

1.) normally how long after we apply for the I-485 will they assign a interview date?/ how long is the waiting time?

(we are trying to plan out getting Advanced parole, so we can go back to (peru) and get my fiances child) and we dont want to leave before the interview of course....so we are just wondering what the normal wait time is for the 1st interview)

Every case is different, some get transferred to CSC and approved without an interview. If you do get a interview it's recommended not to reschedule, usually within 3 to 6 months from filing. Some have received their AOS approval within 3 months. The average wait time for AP is 60 to 90 days. You can try making a infopass appointment to get the AP expedited.

01/2006 - Filed k1(1st time)

Agree with above posting. My wife was a February filer and until today, there individuals [February] that have not yet complete their process. We did get our AP until the day we received our GC. - Her case was transfer to CSC.

Plans to travel of the country. Just wait to secure your AP
