For those 5 months of AP after I knew we were approved and habibi was coming to me finally this song was my anthem!

It came to me at a time where I felt a long battle or war had been won and was over with immigration and the waiting we had done apart.

It lifted my spirit and expressed my feelings of elation in completing that part of the process.

I don't like the crazy creepy clown video version of this song.

This is one of my most favorite songs of all time.

My 5-year old son doesn't go to sleep at night without me singing it to him. He's sitting on my lap right now 'trying' to sing it, as I am writing this post and listening to 'Helwa ya Balady' :)
