Current income would be based on his current paystubs and a letter from the employer stating employment, level of salary, and status of said employement.

W-2s would only show last years income, which is not "current".

He would still need to show IRS info, the same as the primary sponsor would. (tax transcripts are best) - 1 year is sufficient, however, I would recommend sending 3 years worth.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Yes i got it already thanks...Bobby+Umit, i have posted a question but i havent got an answer yet, maybe you could give me some idea and help. On 1-864 of my USC husband Item# 23 My current annual individual income. The SSS sent him a letter stating what is his current income but the amount is for monthly and not annually....So what he did was he attached a simple computation at the back of SSS current income showing the amount of SSS multiply by 12 months. Is that fine or just don't attach anything because the consul will handle that and know what to do?

Enter the annual income, attach the slip, put a small note on it that the letter enclosed states the Monthly income. It's always best not to expect the consul to notice anything :)

On his Current annual individual income is $106,000.00 and on his employment of certificate it is stated his annual base salary is 93,185 per year..Is that ok, the amount is not the same? Was wondering, maybe his current annual individual is gross and base annual is after deductions? Pls help ...i hope this is not wrong bcoz my interview is getting closer

Currently annual income should be the income the sponsor expects to make this year. I don't know why his 'base' salary number is different from his stated annual income, maybe you could ask him.

I also don't know whether or not the difference is an issue.

Just to clarify - the letter of employment is not actually a requirement, neither are pay stubs, not sure if the COs in Manila usually ask for them.

(2) Job Letters and Proof of Income .

Pay stub(s) showing income for the most recent 6 months and letters from all current employers are no longer required as initial evidence. The applicant, however, may submit either or both of these items (1) in response to a request for additional evidence (RFE), or (2) with a Form I-864 if the applicant believes doing so would help establish that the sponsor meets the governing income/assets threshold. If submitted, letters from current employers should show dates of employment, the nature of the job, wage s or salary earned, number of hours/weeks worked, and prospects for future employment and advancement. It should be sufficient for the employer to say that the employment is of indefinite duration or words of similar effect. Promises of future employment are not required.

Thanks trailmix, here in manila they usually show the paystubs. I emailed him and he said that it becomes $106,000 because it is gross income with all his overtimes and it will show on his paystubs, while on the certificate of emp. it was not included....i hope it will not have any problem....
