First I would like to Thank You for all your advices on my last post.

On my verification of Employment it stated for my job Title: Tech Contract Employee but on my tax return for job title I put Manufacturing Specialist. Manufacturing Specialist is my title at my work. So which one should my wife said when the CO ask for my Job Title?

My second questions is, for Affidavit of Support which one should I use I-864 or I-864EZ. Did anyone use I-864EZ before? I heard I-864EZ is a short version of I-864.

Thanks

If you are eligible to use the I-864EZ then go ahead and use it.... otherwise just use the I-864. You are not penalized if you are eligible to use the EZ and do

YMMV

Who May Use Form I-864EZ?

You may use Form I-864EZ IF ALL the following conditions

apply:

1. You are the person who filed or is filing the Form I-130,

Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored;

2. The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on

the Form I-130 petition;

3. The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on

your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Forms

W-2 provided by your employer(s) or former employer(s).

straight from the I-864EZ form here:

USCIS I-864EZ

Make sure she knows both and can explain why they are different, in case they ask. More than likely they will ask her what you do and what your job entails.

"What does your husband do?"

"He's a designer."

"What does he design?"

"He designs tooling."

"Tooling for what?"

Do the EZ if you qualify.

Sounds like a perfect explanation to me!

I work in quailty assurance for a company that manufactures custom dehydration and purification equipment for air, gases and liquids. I knew this was a bit much to get a grasp on so I sent Doan a link to our company website. Even though she did not understand really what it was and how it worked, she was able to see some pictures and things. She was able to get a grasp that my responsibilities were to assure the quality of the equipment we manufacture.

What does your fiance do for his work - "He is manager of quality for equipment they make"

Simple but effective!

6/15/2009 Filed I-129F
