ok here is the news - not all Mexican latinos are the scruffy little herberts you see flicking hooker cards at you in las vegas - many of them would be a welcome addition to any nation.

The lady that cuts my hair is from Costa Rica and became a USC 22 years ago (she says)

She is the best of all the hairdressers and works on it for 15 to 20 minutes instead of the 4 minutes the natural borners take.

She doesnt even charge me a search fee.

She is quiet and sophisticated and knowledgable and skilful and hard working - yes you Americans don't know a good deal when you see one.

This quote says more about you than your other 100-ish posts in this thread...

Who said that all Mexican Latinos (redundant, no? Or are you furthering your point?) are "scruffy little herberts"?

Why should we be surprised that a Costa Rican should be any better/worse than anyone from anywhere else?

Would would "natural borners" be held to any different standard?

I don't know what a search fee is wrt a haircut.

Apparently, SOMEONE here knows a "good deal" (or should that just be "valuable employee"?), since she's got a job.

I find, most often, the "left-leaning" people in this debate use code words to frame an argument, and then argue against that. I know it's all that "control the language, control the debate" #######, but seriously, here's an update.

"Immigrant" != "Illegal Immigrant"

"Illegal immigrant" != "brown person"

"Brown Person" != "Latino"

etc, etc.

The notion that illegals (of any color, from any place, etc) are somehow entitled to be here is bunk, unless you're willing to suggest that you're "entitled" to drive whatever speed you'd like, since it presents some improvement in your quality of life (you get to sleep in for an extra 20 minutes since you'll make it to the office sooner, etc).

My fiancée is an illegal immigrant (out of status, but came here legally, which is a whole other kettle of fish as it relates to the REAL immigration debate), from a European country, with light skin. She doesn't match up with the disingenuous "all immigrants are brown latinos" argument that seems to be winding its way through this thread as a means of attempting to trick people into looking like they're racist ("oh, you hate illegal immigrants? I'm from Mexico, I'll fight you!" - uhhh, yeah, they don't hate Mexicans... They don't hate Mexico... They hate people who break the law to get here...)

There's NOTHING racist about wanting our nation's laws to be upheld, or about exercising force when needed to do so. As someone in another thread here pointed out recently, if anything, those who demand an open border with Mexico (and not elsewhere) are more "racist", since they want to extend privileges to the Mexicans that they wouldn't to Chinese, or Ghanan, or other intending immigrants by virtue of the fact that there's a shared strip of land.

It's possible (and, I would suggest, LOGICAL) to be pro-immigration while being anti-illegal immigration. In fact, technically, I'd wager that being pro-illegal immigration is a mild form of treason, since you're advocating for people to have the right to violate the sovereignty of our nation. For a legal immigrant to be pro-illegal immigration, I'd say, may be grounds for having them stripped of their legal status and sent elsewhere, since they're obviously at odds with the better good of their newly-chosen country of residence.

Only some front toothless mountain boy from the South thinks it's clever or admirable to snigger that some kids head has been blown apart.

It's from the baseness of human nature which we all have and it should be pushed down instead of being brought up and presented as a virtue

Nope, the disease knows no nationality. I am even questioning if some have that humanity...

And please, spare the cheapshots y'all.

You are quite fluent in English and even know the "y'all" well, for someone who is apparently Mexican.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Actually what you are doing is using straw man arguments to divert from illegal aliens and their negative affect on America and Americans. Furthermore, you said you where a cop yet seem to ignore the chronic problem with illegal aliens and crime. You then block your ears and claim we are somehow doing a Mexican dance that this kid was shot dead, all while never actually caring to know the facts of why he was shot. Once again, how does anyone who was a cop automatically assume the police were in the wrong and not justified [in any way] for shooting this kid.

On a serious note, what sort of a person downplays the criminal actions of illegal aliens yet goes on and on about one single incident? Like it's some sort of epidemic.

The thread is about this single incident - am I right ?

ok So it's you who is going down other tracks.

My position oft repeated is that I don't know the circumstances - but you seem to be saying that if the kid was throwing stones , then he deserved to have his face blown off and it should be a deterrent to the other kids.

Am I right in the way I describe your position - in what way is it wrong ?

I am simply taking issue with you on that.

No thread is static. It's about the incident, which encompasses illegal aliens.

I am not the one saying all is good because your hairdresser [or whoever] does a good job. Therefore, surely all illegal aliens are good too and the crime stats are fabricated by "some front toothless mountain boy from the South".

Wheres the outrage?

The Mexican government has more important things to worry about, like the one kid shot dead harassing border patrol agents. That's just wrong wrong wrong.

Heck, the may even go all Middle East on us and start blaming America.

It involves rivers and guns and mothers and coffins too - so it has a pretty wide scope eh ?

oh forgot pebbles/granite/sandstone/marble and the historical formation of rocks in central america

Nope it's about this boy's death and there are people on here who are callous about his death and seek to divert from it and minimize it by introducing side issues. They only do this after stating that he doesn't matter and he is only one person.

I have my answer and you are not a lone brute in this thread or this country. But you are a minority which is shrinking despite what one might glean from internet posts

F this... I give up. Hate whoever you want, build a wall like China's, love each other, kill each other. Darwin's Natural Selection, do your trick...

I am very happy in this country, I plan on upholding the laws of this land because it is my home. Please quote me saying I am pro-illegal immigration, I am dying to see you try. Excercising force whenever needed is not the point, it is the degree of force used.

Read up, my friend.

Actually anger towards illegals is growing stronger. Your ilk can no longer suppress it using labels and range of other straw arguments.

You should fear the day Americans finally have enough, take their streets back from gangs and demand justice from illegal aliens repetitively committing crimes against Americans. Not to mention, take their jobs back from illegals.

This is so sad, even for a highly-cultivated chap like yourself. Now because I am fluent in the English language and use American slang I am "apparently Mexican"? Really? :thumbs:

done

You are priceless man :lol:
