It's like afghanistan - you shoot down our helicopter and we bomb your wedding party

Two wrongs don't make a right

I don't believe it's black and white like that. It's amazing that you were a policeman and still think it's logical to have police cross their t's and dot their i's, follow a range of rules, yet be expected to miraculously catch criminals that play by their own rules or no rules at all.

I prefer the age old if you mess with fire, you are likely to get burnt.

PS The problem in afghan is that those bombing the helicopter hide in wedding parties and then conveniently cry Jihad - see what the infidels have done - when attacked back.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

No one knows what that wedding would have spawned. Maybe an American ally, but maybe a terrorist. Why take a chance with the lives of the very people to whom you owe your very freedom?

You, my friend, have just painted a picture for everyone describing the difference between a real man and a little boy.

Troll, at least reveal your previous identity.

So this is still going on?

Good morning, gentlemen. It all boils down to this: We all love this country, regardless of anything. It's people that make America so great! Hard working people, that punch the clock from 9 to 5 and then come home to the wife and kids. To me that's what America is all about, family, friends, neighbors. I will be in line to say "hey, if someone tries to kill you, defend yourself", but I will not agree with an unfair fight, like someone said "bringing stones to a gunfight".

To booyah!, seriously man, it's not the fact that I am Mexican, it really isn't. I have exposed my views on illegal immigration, and believe me, illegal immigrants bear no weight on my shoulders. I am doing things the right way. That kid could have been Asian, Black, Albino, etc. and still be an unfair punishment. Seriously, wouldn't you have nightmares if you, or better yet, your son came to you and told you about it? No one in their right mind will go for a headshot unless something is fueling the fire, like hate.

All I would like to see is better measures from CBP, for example, rubber pellets, bean bags, that kind of stuff. Shock 'em, rough 'em up a little, but geez don't kill 'em, y'know?

I believe in 'if you play with fire, you're going to get burned.'

The fact of the matter is, we are being invaded from the south and desperate times call for desperate measures.

Granted some punk kid throwing rocks getting killed is a bit ridiculous, but I bet we won't see any more punk kids throwing rocks for awhile....

A rock; a pebble; child's play or not...the sad reality is that two lives are destroyed here. The child is dead and the man who killed him will live with that horrible reality the rest of his life. I am just saddened that the whole drug thing on the border has escalated to the point that those of us who once enjoyed driving across to visit really have to think twice about it. An innocent child is killed. A Border Patrol agent is forced to use drastic measures, maybe because of the hightened fear and concerns created by drug lords that neither the Mexican people living near the borders, nor the innocent Americans on this side have any control. It is just sad that our borders have come to this. My heart goes out to the child's family, as well as the border patrol agent who has to live with this now.

Amen... It's just not what it used to be, especially in Juarez/El Paso. Tijuana/SD is still decent, but still not the same.
