It has some improvements over the 3G. But don't forget that video calls only work on wifi, this is not a 4G phone since AT&T does not have a 4G network. The only 4G network thus far is Sprint and it isn't widespread yet.

AT&T sucks, I hope they dump them soon.

Again, Apple ups the ante. Watch the rest follow.

As nice as it is, but I found the only improvement to really really like was the display, the rest was sorta meh, Im hoping the antenna placement improves call quality and reception, but with still being on AT&T, that remains to be seen, the videocalling is cool, but its iPhone to iPhone only, and only over WiFi, so for now at least, its pretty niche.

Whatever pace there is to follow, the lead is nowhere near as large as it once was, and shrinking daily.

Love 'em or hate 'em, Apple's iPhone has led the way with what kind of features and interface all cell phone try to aspire to. They're continually leading the way. Even though cell phone video calling has been talked about now for several years, Apple has delivered. My guess is that they're going to have wait for a cell phone carrier to provide a high enough data rate to support streaming video, but it will happen eventually.

Actually they have not delivered squat. I was using two-way video calls over a 3G network back in 2002. Apple is the first to offer the equivalent over wifi in the US and it's now apparently breakthrough. Pretty much every 3G phone sold in markets outside the US have two cameras and offer two way video calls over their cell networks.

Speaking of apple, this is a crackup

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Check out the HTC Evo that just came out on Sprint.
