Biometrics question

We don't have our appointment date yet, but I noticed that for May filers the bio appointments are running about 1-1.5 months after the NOA1 date. This is putting me smack dab in the week of my due date for our first child. Do I, the USC need to go to the bio appt and anyone know how easy it will be to move the appointment if I go into labor and my husband can't go? Thanks so much, I want to have a general idea of what to do while I can still think strait :)

From what I have read, and my personal experience in the past, some centers do not allow the USC spouse to enter the ASC.

So I think you will be OK for your husband to go alone. Also, some ASCs allow an early bio, so if your husband has free time, maybe he can take advantage of that so that he won't be apart from you during such an important time.

Best of Luck!

I don't know how it works for ROC, but a lot of AOS'rs (including myself) were able to go in and do a walk-in once they got their biometrics letter. Is that maybe an option for you?

I recommend your husband go for a walk-in biometrics and get done with it early on (upon receipt of the appointment letter). You do not need to go with him to the ASC and I really don't like suggesting to reschedule.

I think an early walk-in is your best bet!
