I scanned each document seperately and labeled with the case# as the prefix and added the document type as a suffix so that they could distinguish each document by name. For example the I864 2009 tax I labeled as 'GZO********_Tax2009'. I am not sure about scanning as one huge document.

should i attach multiple attachment (one for each document) or scan all into one single giant pdf?

Thanks,

Either way will work. My preference is to combine all into one PDF and then reduce the file size, so it can be emailed. They do want it in PDF though. Not sure combining and file size reduction can be done with just the reader though.

You can 'rebundle' scan'd files into one large file, if you wish.

But that requires some wrangling with your computer, not your scanner.

I've mentioned some tools, with download links, at http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing

If I were in your shoes, though, I'd wait until NOA-2 in hand before starting to scan stuff. If you have police clearance certificate already, it might age out by the time you will start NVC EP. Maybe.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks,

I did the same as Dan-Ling with no problems, you want to limit the size of the total message including attachments to less than 10MB or the system will not accept the e-mail. I had to go back and reduce my file sizes so the automatic system would accept them. Good Luck, Robby
