Not the first city to do & won't be the last.

What I can't seem to understand, is...why riot when your team wins? I would think to do it if the team lost.

They do it when their team loses, too. Remember when Vancouver lost the '94 Stanley Cup? And there are lots of examples of football riots, after a team loses, especially if fans believe officiating was suspect.

Thats the joke of the century...all the money Toronto has & they still have a sh!t team....year after year.

The Laffs don't care because corporate and regular morons keep buying tickets and the owners are trying to make money, it's that simple. They don't spend it on getting the best players, but they did show some signs of progress this season. The young players aren't too bad and Qadri is still developing, he will be a big-time player in the next few years. We'll see.

Absolutley.

They makes loads of money whether they suck or are good.

So if you look at it in another way...its a smart business move! They don't have to pay good players & continue to make money...no matter how long(or short) they play into the year.

I chose to ignore the McCallum comment. While I will never forgive him for missing that FG, I am eternally embarrassed by how a few of my fellow Riders fans reacted. There is no excuse for that. At least you didn't bring up Tillman. blush.gif

The really funny thing is, last year, when Mel and I first arrived in Montreal for her visa interview, we went for a walk around downtown, to find the embassy, and to find a place for dinner. We stumbled upon the tail end of a riot there. So of course i'm not even the least bit surprised at a Habs riot in Montreal.

Wow, you must be mellowing in your attitude towards drunken kitties or maybe you're just trying to lull me into a false sense of security. :help: :help: :help:

Tillman, the sleaze, should go back to Mississippi.
