color me confused yet again...

I have been patiently searching the DHL shipments the last few days and I have yet to see a shipment going to Kuala Lumpur malaysia which is where mine should be headed. I called the NVC today and talked to a live person after my case# was not found and she said it shipped on May 7th which is great but being the ####### person I can be I am still trying to find the actual shipment. I can use the EXP **may 2010* numbers and find lots of packages but nothing going to KL.

The reason this is a bit concerning to me is that my honey is a Filipina living in Malaysia and I would hate to find out that the packet went to Manila for some unknown reason.

are there any other ways to check shipments??

That's weird...really there's nothing going to KL at all. But there is one that is sent to KL on the 12th though, with reference nubmer EXP 11 MAY 2010A. But it's weird because they told you the package is shipped on the 7th....but there's one that was shipped on the 7th that went to Manila though with reference number: EXP 06 MAY 2010A...Maybe you should call them to confirm? I don't know...

Good luck!!

Thanks for replying to my lonely post I saw that one you referenced for the 12th and I was relieved that something was shipped to KL. I did call them a couple of times and they confirmed it said it was shipped on the 7th.

I was excited to tell my honey it was on the way because she was very worried about it, and guess what??

she tells me to check out a number she found and sure enough she had found a shipment to KL that left on the 10th. No matter what i tried i could not duplicate her search.

UNITL I REMOVED EXP FROM THE REFERENCE# THEN IT SHOWED UP!!! (07 MAY 2010A) ONLY..

I guess you really have to experiment with every possible combination

pardon - what are the first 3 letters of yer NVC casefile # ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

first off yes Wuhan does indeed rock...

secondly it is KLL which i am hoping means Kuala Lumpur. as a follow up I did send an email to the consulate yesterday to see if my shipment had arrived after finding the one that was hiding without the EXP in the reference number. But sadly they said that my case has not arrived as of yet. They did say sometimes things get held up in security clearence?? and I should try again on Monday...

the reason why this is a concern besides worrying if it was sent to Manila (my honey gets worried easily) is that she doesn't get mail at her apartment and all personal mail needs to go to her office. I put a note in there but I would perfer to be proactive in making sure it is mailed out correctly.

You've got a GREAT Chance, approaching 100 percent, that the casefile will be adjudicated in Kuala Lumpur, since the NVC casefile # starts with KLL.

Since it's left NVC already - you should call DOS, Get a Human and inquire for casefile status. DOS Hotline Human can confirm exactly WHERE it was sent.

IMO, that's what you need, right? that confirmation it's gone to KLL and NOT MNL.

Be Good !

I have spoken with then and they said it was shipped the 7th and that it was going to KL, not sure if i had 100% confidence since there was nothing shipped out on that date.

So many reasons I want her here as soon as possible, We are really hoping for August 1st. So she can have time with my son before he goes back to school. Also living in Minnesota I want her here so she can adjust and adapt before winter sets in.

Oh - you are getting whigged out on the date, IMO.

Just because they 'say' it went out that day, doesn't mean it went out. Mailroom operations being what they are, is never 100 percent of 'that day' shipment -

IMO - it was 'pegged to go out' on that day, not 'left that day'.

Relax, you. Seriously. At this stage, you can absolutely lose yer mind, trying to track that package.

IMO, the next thing that matters, is 'P3 sent' status - you can learn that by calling the DOS Hotline, Get a Human.

FWIW, if 'them' wasn't the DOS hotline, then you did not follow what I said, earlier. I can't help but to wonder WHY you didn't do this, since yer this whigged out about it.
