salam walikom

so far being away from hubby is the hardest!!! but the paperwork is stressful trying to be a perfectionist to try to avoid the rfe's. The not knowing if they have your paperwork or not because they dont have it scanned yet...the feeling of mabe they shoved it in a corner and its gathering dust.

The most stressful was waiting for an interview (we waited 3 months from when we sent in our packet 3) and then waiting another month for the actual visa to be printed

Now it's just waiting for him to finally get here :bonk:

I miss him and cannot wait to marry my love! :luv:

Most stressful part for me was waiting for my own N-400 process-completion (essential for even officially starting the process). Next was in getting Pras' birth-cert to answer I-485 RFE (we sent the packet to them without it, having sent in copy of her passport--which used data from her 10TH-class cert as basis; eventually, USCIS used  that same data anyway) due to deadline imposed by RFE. Little stress in I-751, some in her N-400 app (of the "hurry-up-and-wait" type from interview/approval to oath).

In essence though, my own earlier (work-based) immigration process had smoothed the path for her.

Actually most of the stress was due to concern about my 84 yr old mom

who was alone in the house while I was in Thailand. Now that my wife

is here, they get along fine. Sometimes I think that since she has gained

a daughter she wants me to be disappear.

I'm no longer indispensable.whistling.gif

Added stress will come when my wife goes to Thailand for a month this summer.

We will be in contact by chat daily, but my mom is often forgetful and will be

asking daily (hourly?) about when my wife will return.
