STUPID RFE THREAD

OK I WAS GOING THRU EVERYTHING AND FOUND A FEW THINGS I MAY GET AN RFE FOR IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR ME NOW IT WOULD BE GREAT!!! NVC RECIEVED EVERYTHING YESTERDAY BUT IT'S STILL IN THE MAIL ROOM. THE MISTAKES I FOUND: I WROTE LETTERS OF EXPLANATION FOR EVERYTHING I THOUGHT THEY MAY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT. I ALSO ATTACHED A SHEET WITH SCHOOL INFORMATION ON IT AND SENT A LETTER OF REQUEST FOR RETURN OF THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS. ALL THREE OF THESE I SIGNED BUT DID NOT DATE :bonk: THIS IS ALL FOR THE DS-230 PLUS THE FIRST PAGE OF THE DS-230 I PUT THE ADDRESSES BUT DIDNT PUT THE APT NUMBER FOR ALL THREE OF THE ADDRESSES :bonk: ALSO I READ ABOUT THE EGYPT MILITARY CERTIFICATE RFE THE PROBLEM WITH THE CERTIFICATE SAYING "MINISTRY OF DEFENCE" AND NOT "MINISTRY OF WAR" I MAY HAVE THIS ISSUE ALSO. HOW WAS IT SOLVED PLEASE. IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME ANY ADVICE I WOULD SURE APPRECIATE IT!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL ON YOUR VISA JOURNEY!!! :help:

I think you should be fine with your sheets of additional information and the addresses. Sorry, can't give you any input on the police certificate. Hang in there..if NVC received your package yesterday give it a week to 10 days to reach completion. Good luck!

You should be ok with your ds-230 with the letters of explanations. It might even stop having an RFE, who knows?

As far as the address not having the apartment number, you might want to call them and let them know that you didn't have the apartment number on there, because this is the address they are going to be sending your SO green card AND social security number to. If you live in a big apartment community, well you may never receive his documents from the government.

My husband's military certificate had ministry of defense on there and we didn't have an RFE for that, we did have one but it was because of his birth certificate....blush.gif

Thank You So Much for your input i really appreciate it :) It's actually his egypt residence apartment number Where he will recieve his visa I suppose. I will deffinatly call NVC about that. We answered the question about the military specialty/occupation on the DS-230 but on his certificate it does not list one. How do ya think that will turn out for us?

If you dont mind me asking. What did they rfe you about on his birth certificate?
