Ohh I almost forgot the last question lol When it says date and place of marriage, would that be the date of the city hall or the date at the church with the priest, and would I say at the church address or address of city hall?

The date on your marriage license/certificate and the place is the city you were married in.

Hey ya'll I'm just filling out the G-325A and I have a couple of questions.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/g-325a.pdf

On the first question it says Family Name ...would that be my last maiden name or married last name? I was thinking maiden but I'm not for sure.

Also on the citzenship/nationality question I am a U.S citizen, but I was born in London,England. So would that just be American?

It's also okay fill it out online and print out right? Thankyou :star:

I thought your RFE was for your husband's G-325A. If that is the case I'm sure you know that this information has to be about him, not you, and the form will require his signature.

Have you legally changed your name yet? I was kind of nervous putting one name down and then changing it later in the process even though others say it is no problem.

For my wife I put her married name under family name and maiden name under other names used.

edit-yeah what Henykat said. Faster than I

It's also okay fill it out online and print out right? Thankyou :star:

Sure. I think some people had problems with pdf file from USCIS though

Ya, they are asking for both! it says.

FORM G-325A: submit a properly completed and signed Form G-325A for the petioner, and the beneficiary.

PHOTOS Submit two passport photographs for the petitioner, and the beneficiary. The specifications are as follows:

---thats all . weird.

It says on the bottom of the G-325A if your native alpahabet is in other than Roman Letters, write your name in your native alapabet.

I am Assyrian, Im not sure if anyone knows what it is lol. Anyways I was born in London, not the middle east but I do speak Assryian so would I have to do that little native alphabet thingy. none of my documents need translations or anything. ehh this stuff sucks !

I'm almost certain since you are a US citizen your normal characters would be Roman letters. If your name on official documents like your birth certificate uses Roman letters, then you don't need to put anything Assyrian here.

NVC is not less stressful than USCIS!!!! Some ppl receive case nb sooner, some not... Last night we've been on the phone 45 min & couldnt go though to a live operator so told my hubby to call later. AVR says they have no record of our WAC nb & our stuff... Is been 6 business days, they must have received the docs, but not entered them for processing. Who knows when they will scan our stuff & enter us in the system. Could be 2 weeks, 1 month. God forbid a month, will screw all our plans for Xmas togheter.Ppl that have NOA 2 close to us, already have case no. God help me this is a neverending stress!! :(

So husband must have called, but didnt send me no sms, email regarding that, which ads more to my stress. I feel like walking on the walls again!!! Also the I-864 expired, all you ppl that will receive Noa 2 what are you going to do about that?

I had said in a few other posts , it's prob wayyy back ther by now that the I-864 was going to expire soon. I'm thinking on the website they automatically might make a new one, im not sure. I haven't gotten to the NVC step where I send that stuff in so I'll look for new ones and have my parents fill them out, and myself. =/ Thank for the reminder I almost forgot about that! I need to make a list of my thoughts now there are too much.

Last night I couldn't even sleep I was just laying there picturing my hubby in a interview and how it would be and all the possible convos they could have. I was dying to sleep because its the only time my head can get a break from thinking about all of this madness. I've gone cuckoo :bonk: lol ........I'm going to go voteeee now !! I'll be back later! Legible copies? yeah ####### is that about. Is your lawyer in like high school lol. How could they come out not legible. Anyways at least its just that and nothing extreme. I'm waiting on my hubby to send me two pics. I also sent in a G-325A for myself and now they want another! See just goes to show us how all people lose things and aren't careful with others things. It makes you wonder what the USCIS people do in the office all day.... when the RFE letter came in the mail they forgot a letter in my middle and last name =/ I could see them like this in the office :

I'm going to vote and go take passport photos for myself now. Be back soon =D I'll keep ya posted!
