Can he come into the country for a week and then leave, to only come back in a few months irregardless of where his wife is located?

Is the CR-1 different from the K-1 in that because they are already married they can come and go more easily?

I would hate to see him enter, leave after a week to go be with his wife, and then find out he is stuck again!!!

Is there some way he can get an extension on his visa in order to stay until after the birth of the child?

For your first two questions, "yes" and "yes, considerably different".

i guess OP would be fine at POE,they donnt ask many questions.

he could stay in US for 1 week and then come back to his wife.

his relatives (residing at US address) could FEDEX him his green card.

now i am thinking...........is it legal to send green card through FEDEX to immigrant, if he is not residing at the address or he is abroad?

like the above case??
