Touched - how do you know?

Hello All .. I am new to this site and of course to this site. I read a lot and see some people stating their application was touched. How do they know? I filed an I-130, and both G-325A's and supporting material. I also signed up for the site where you put your email and phone number for text messages here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

They do not show me anything that says touched. Is there another way?

My NOA1 was on March 4,2010

This is a great site and thank you all for your support and good luck to you all.

All a touch is, actually is a date change on USCIS website when you log in. Anytime they look at your file they scan it into the system so date will show changed.

Thank you both for your reply. Looks like I have done it just like muskan4eva described. I guess my case has not been touched yet.

Not to worry. I obsessively checked multiple times a day while I was waiting for our NOA2, didn't get a touch until we were approved :)
