Touched - how do you know?

Hello All .. I am new to this site and of course to this site. I read a lot and see some people stating their application was touched. How do they know? I filed an I-130, and both G-325A's and supporting material. I also signed up for the site where you put your email and phone number for text messages here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

They do not show me anything that says touched. Is there another way?

My NOA1 was on March 4,2010

USCIS IR1/CR-1 CSC

02-24-2010 - I-130 Sent: February 24th, 2010

06-17-2010 - NOA2

Your I-130 was APPROVED in 107 days from your NOA1 date.

06-24-2010 - NVC Case Number Assigned

08-24-2010 - Sign in Fail - Case COMPLETE in 60 days

10-27-2010 - INTERVIEW Riyadh

11-27-2010 - VISA issued

01-06-2011 - POE JFK

01-27-2011 - Welcome letter

01-28-2011 - Green came via Priority mail

01-06-2011 - GC Issue Date

02-05-2011 - GC Received

02-10-2011 - Applied for SSN at local office

02-19-2011 - SSN Received by mail

10-06-2012 (?) - GC Extend Date

01-06-2013 - GC Expires Date

on the left hand side, click on where it says sign in to account.

enter your user type, user id/password. add the case to ur portfolio if it hasn't been added.

there r different columns showing,receipt number, mobile/email alert last updated, form number and form title

look at the last updated date. that shows when ur case was last "touched"

IR-1 / CR-1 Visa

2010-04-19: approved online wohoooo

2010-04-24: NOA2 hardcopy received

2010-04-26: gave 2 email addresses and assigned case #

2010-04-27: received/sent ds3032, AOS bill

2010-05-01: IV bill became available online/paid

2010-05-06: sent in DS230 package via express mail 9:07am

2010-05-11: NVC acknowledges the receipt of AOS on 05/05

2010-05-13: operator told me that AOS sent to supervisor for review....

2010-05-14: AVR changes to received the checklist letter response on 5/13

2010-05-23: RFE for original birth cert. (i did sent original).......arghhh

2010-05-24: BC under review by some department

2010-06-02: sent in original BC again and previous BC is still under review

2010-06-10: NVC recognizes BC into their system

2010-06-15: BC under review

2010-06-21: SIF!!!!!omggggg soo happy 57 days in NVC process

2010-06-28: interview on Aug. 19, 8am.

2010-08-19: interview went fine but he's put into AP :(

2011-01-09: almost 5 months in AP "still pending"

2011-02-06: 5 and half months and still counting......when is this torture going to end....

2011-02-20: 6 months still no answer..........

2011-03-08: more than 200 days passed in AP..................(

2011-03-24: visa has been issued today. hurayyyyyyyyyy finally wait is overrrr.

2011-03-26: got the passport wohoooo

All a touch is, actually is a date change on USCIS website when you log in. Anytime they look at your file they scan it into the system so date will show changed.

Not to worry. I obsessively checked multiple times a day while I was waiting for our NOA2, didn't get a touch until we were approved :)

u'll get touched probably when they're ready to approve ur case.
