Today is two weeks since I sent I130 and still no sign of NOA1 and check has not been cashed either. Should I start to worry. Could it be that there are any RFE?

Marriage : 2003-10-03 (7 years of a Very happy marriage)

1ST Child : 2005-08-08 Timothy is born in NYC

2ND Child : 2009-06-29 Bianca is born in Sto.Dgo

Apptmt for Consular Birth report papers 2010-08-31

Passport and certificate received September 14, 2010

USCIS journey

Service Center : California Service Center

Consulate : Dominican Republic

I-130 Sent : 2010-04-15

I-130 NOA1 : 2010-04-18

Touched - April 27, 2010

Apprvd October 3, 2010 WHAT A GREAT ANNIVERSARY PRESENT !!!!!!

Visa appt 'February 7th 2011

06-17-2010 - NOA2

Your I-130 was APPROVED in 107 days from your NOA1 date.

06-24-2010 - NVC Case Number Assigned

08-24-2010 - Sign in Fail - Case COMPLETE in 60 days

10-27-2010 - INTERVIEW Riyadh

11-27-2010 - VISA issued

01-06-2011 - POE JFK

01-27-2011 - Welcome letter

01-28-2011 - Green came via Priority mail

01-06-2011 - GC Issue Date

Be patient. 2 weeks is not too long. You won't get an RFE until after they have started the initial review and they always cash the check first.

^^Agreed. Give it a bit more time but keep checking to see if the cheque has been cashed. Once that happens your NOA1 shouldn't be too far behind. Good luck!

They haven't even looked at your case yet so no, a slow NOA-1 is not an indication of an RFE. For example, the above poster OBX and I filed on the same day, we got our NOA-1 a few days before her and we ended up getting an RFE.

It can take up to 60 days to get your NOA-1. Remember, USCIS gets 20,000 pieces of mail a day (no....seriously) so it will take some time for them to get to you. This process is about patience. Have they cashed your cheque yet?
