Chicago Strip Club To Hold Sarah Palin Look Alike Contest

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Since she entered the national spotlight two years ago, former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has been the subject of more than a few male fantasies.

The craze has now spread to the Admiral Theatre, the well-known strip club at 3940 W. Lawrence Ave. in the Albany Park neighborhood. The club has scheduled a Sarah Palin lookalike contest for May 12 – the same day the real Palin is actually scheduled to speak in northwest suburban Rosemont.

The club has titled the contest, "Less Taxation, More Stimulation." A panel of "local celebrity judges" will determine the winners of the contest, who will receive a $5,000 cash prize.

And this contest is far from a mockery of Palin by political opponents. The club says a portion of the proceeds from the contest being donated to the conservative Tea Party Movement.

Contest organizers say they have even asked the real Palin to be a celebrity judge herself, but has not received a response.

On the same day, Palin will be headlining a fundraiser for the Illinois Republican Party at the Westin O'Hare in Rosemont.

This is not the first Sarah Palin lookalike contest with adult themes. In October 2008, less than two weeks before the presidential election, Club Paradise in Las Vegas held a similar pageant, where contestants were judged on both their bodies and their debating skills.
