Since DCF is consulate processed... and unless the reported form problem was at the Manila consulate, then there is little chance that it will be the same. The best answer comes from the consulate itself... call or email them

YMMV

Hey Thanks for the quick reply ! yea I already shot them an e-mail but calling the call center is like talking to a robot, they have canned responces only and when you ask them a valid question they tell you to call the embassy and you get a recording telling you to call the call center blah blah blah, I just thought I saw another VJ'er with this same issue but I can't find it in a search.

Thanks again ! :)

It's ok to fill up the new version of DS230. When my husband first secured a form for the I-130, they also gave him an old form but we did not use it. Instead we used the new and downloaded form for I-130 and it was accepted anyway.

I think we are going to play it safe and submit both forms with an explination, have't heard back with an e-mail but if we do we will share it with you :)

Hey Tommy and Rizza, I have read a case here on VJ i think last week , they got an RFE for not sending the part 2. Hi Mrs Faith & Danilou et, al, here is what we recieved from DOS section IV of the Manila Consulate, please keep in mind Mrs Faith that the DCF procedures and going through NVC is differant, (we) do not send in DS-230II, we carry it to the interview filled up and unsigned, following the instruction not to write below this line.

Good luck to you in trying to contact the consulate through the phone but I tell you, you will probably get a faster, clearer responce by sending them an e-mail -
