How long for 130 at VSC by LPR - any experiences ?

I just noticed that VSC is showing that they are processing 130 for LPR that filed Nov 08, meaning about 1.5 years ? That's not too bad. Can someone suggest if its actually true ? Any recent 130 approvals from VSC for LPR. Would love to hear your experience.

I am ready to file for 130 as LPR, but my citizenship is in process - so contemplating if I should or go ahead and fine. Suggestions, experiences welcome !

Thanks

It does not strike me as fast, but then there is no rush.

File now and then upgrade.

We filed ours in Aug 2006 and heard nothing for about 3 years. In Nov 2009 it was transferred to Texas Center and sometime in March 2010 after many phone calls and emails we got approved.

If you file now, nothing might happen but once you update as USC it would be approved fast and the priority date is when you apply (you might gain anywhere from a couple of months to six months).
