Greetings all,

My fiancee and I are just about to mail out our first packet. Before I send it, I wanted to ask a question. It may seem like not such a big deal, but I just want everything to be right the first time. So here it is.

How should I physically attach the documents together? Do I use staples, clips or paper clips?

I haven't read anything on this, and I am a bit obsessive compulsive at times.

I want to say thanks to everyone who contributes to this website. It has been tremendously helpful.

Thanks!

We just used paper clips. They disassemble everything anyway...and put it in the order they want it...so don't worry too much about it.

The USCIS web site, www.uscis.gov has a page dedicated to this question.

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

If the link does not work, go to the web site, click on Forms at the top. Then on the Right hand side you will see a link labeled,

"General Tips on Assembling Applications for Mailing"

Click on that link.
