Hi there all!

Just a little confused about POE and temporary work permits. I have been doing some research about a temp 90 day work permit from Customs at my POE. Now a lot of people are saying that it's just JFK that do these? Is this true? I phoned Denver International and spoke to their customs officers and they said that as soon as they stamp my K-1/ I-94 then it permits me to work temporarily? Slightly confused and if anyone can shed some light on the situation based on their knowledge will be greatly appreciated :) I know that I will need to apply for AOS but I recall reading I was allowed to work whilst that was taking place.

Luke

That "loophole" has been closed. Even when entering through JFK. The new I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and the E-Verify system won't clear you for work with just the I-94.
