Hang around and keep sharing your knowledge and experience, hopefully.

Your comment about pushing water uphill reminded me of something a colleague said to me when we were having trouble at work....

"I feel like we are pushing a huge steel ball up a hill, but that no one told us they'd be greasing it and tying our shoe laces together when we weren't looking!!!"

My comment may not help, but my wife sent exactly what they ask for and she got approved with no RFE. She also had the exam done in her home country. Despite that, she went to a CS and got a new I-693 with all the vaccinations only. That is all they needed. And in terms of taxes, they do not want a COPY of your taxes. They prefer a tax TRANSCRIPT. That is what my wife sent.

Overall, her AOS, EAD, and Parole got approved without issues. No stress either!

Three months and five days from receipt in Chicago to Interview and final approval.

I agree. Following the VJ Guides is the best thing to do; performing extra "thinking" is futile. We followined the gudies and submitted the DS-3025 (we had the foresight, from doing our homework, to request a copy of that during the medical in Russia) and the I-693 with the vaccination information transcribed from the DS-3025 to the I-693. No need to have duplicate vaccinations; follow the guide on VJ and submit the DS-3025 (meaning don't forget to request that at the medical) and have a CS transcribe the records onto the appropriate sections of the I-693.

No RFEs and are currently in the process. Have receieved the AP and EAD and are awaiting the GC.

I don't see what's so hard about this? I have read the instructions for the I-485 and personally I can interpret them to need both the DS-3025 AND the I-693 (most folks only read the one section but not the other that alludes to the need for the 693).

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!
