Adjusting can be a little tough - hopefully she'll feel better soon. Usually when one is homesick, it's about family and missing those we love rather than finding new friends to be with that share the same culture.

i hear the catholic church is a good place to meet up with people...I dont know that much about spokane though.

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

You also might want to check out Filipino restaurants in your area...and Filipino or Asian markets. My wife and I enjoyed both.

Also, you can get her family set up with Yahoo Messenger or Skype so she can talk to them cam2cam for free.

A drivers license would be a good thing too. It would open up new opportunities for her.

I agree. Everything is spread out here and not all places has good public transportation too so most people really have to drive.
