Hey guys,

Just wanted to know, after marriage on a K1 visa, what is the beneficiary considered to be? Because, the way I understand, the beneficiary does not gain legal permanent residence until AOS proceedings which can take months/years. So, the time in between marriage and AOS, what is the beneficiary considered?

After you file for AOS and while waiting for it to be processed, then she would be an "adjustment applicant"
