I received the following email about 6 days after my husband sent the RFE response:

On August 2, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

Can someone tell me what does this mean? How long do you guys think it will take until I get the approval?

12/14/04 Case transferred to California

12/22/06 Biometrics

04/12/07 - Infopass appointment. They sent an email to the California Service Center asking about my case.

04/12/07- Touched (seems like Infopass really worked)

04/13/07 - Touched

05/01/07 - Another infopass, this time he talked to someone in California who said that is going to approve my case and that I'll have my card in 3 weeks.

05/02/07 - Touched

05/03/07 - Touched

AOS

12/20/06 Sent AOS

12/27/06 NOA

01/12/07 Biometrics

02/30/07 RFE received

03/22/07 RFE sent

03/30/07 Email notification saying that they received RFE and case processing has resumed

04/09/07 Touched

Timeline

it means they got your RFE and that the processing will be complete sometime whenever. there are so many people that have been waiting here.... it could be a month or it could be 4 mos who knows. my petition was approved 3 weeks after that message. good luck :thumbs:
