sister's husband wants to come later on F-4

I've applied for my sister on F-4 & .Her case has been completed she is waiting on her visa interview date.But now her husband doesn't want to join her right now.What should she do ,he doesn't want to go for visa interview also due to work related issue .Can she go to interview her self ?

Her husband can be included, but he does not have to be.

And if he is not coming there is no need for him to attend the interview.

Once she is a LPR she could sponsor him, but it is a long wait.

There is a provision of 'following to join', i.e. if one of benificiery wants to immigrate after few months, principal benificiery has to inform consular officer during interview. Contach your consulate for more information.

Dear Friend,

The best advice in this scenario would be that your brother in law should attend the interview which is ofcourse a matter of few hours. At he time of visa receipt, all of them will have 6 months time before they can travel to USA. Therefore, your sister can travel earlier and Binlaw can travel at his convenience but definitely before expiry of IV which is 6 months from the date of issuance.
