Sponsor's Tax Return.

I got an RFE, and can't figure out what's expected from me.

I filed a certified copy of my W-2, so what is expected, a copy of my 1040, or do I need to file 4506-T with IRS and forward to USCIS whatever I get back from them?

As always any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to send the tax return, W2 and any 1099s that you might have.

Otherwise you can send federal tax transcripts from the IRS.

Certified copy of a W-2?

Part of whats required is the sponsor's most-recent year's tax return (and supporting documents) OR IRS Transcript. A W-2 is a supporting document for a tax return (can't send one without the other).

But I sent them the W-2 copy. . . And I had no 1099s. . .

So is it 1040 they are expecting?

I guess I can send 4506-T to IRS, but now I don't know whether they already processed my 2009 return and have all the necessary data. Should I request 2008 and 2009 in that case?

The 1040 and W2 needs to go together! One is useless without the other.
