It happens once in a while where they send the biometrics before (or never send) extension letter. You answered your own question. just make an infopass and go there with your green card and biometrics appointment as proof that your I-751 has been accepted and you need the extension. They will stamp your passport and you can take that to your local DMV and get your license renewed. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Check your state's DMV and see what documents they will need.. some states accept NOA letters or I-551 stamps which you can get with an infopass, and others don't.

According to your timeline, your current GC will expire on 5/20 or so.

And since you are CSC filer, you might get your new card before expiration if you are in average processing time.

These Jan CSC filer didn't get NOA and got approved in 2 months. So if I was you, wouldn't worry for now...

Hmmm Yurika & Jim good to see CSC is moving along nicely. I mailed my I-751 on 3-23-10 and they received it on 3-25-10. Check was cashed 3-29-10 but no NOA yet as of today. If 3 months seem to be the processing time, then that should be good news for those using that center.
