Good day everyone,

I had started already filling up some forms (I-485,G-325A),and just little bit confused about the address and status, what should i put there?my present address (here in the US) or my address back home? and should i put my single status as i came here or married as i am now?(i came here last dec.09,2009 and we just got married last month)...in addition, with the A#,is it the one that can be found at the back page of I-94?

anticipating for your kind response guys!

There are at least 4 places where your "status" is requested. Three places you are asked for your immigration status. The answers to your questions are covered in the example forms section (link at the top of the page) Your immigration status is "K-1" or "K-1 visa entrant" etc. Your marital status is "married" because you are going to date all of these forms when you sign them, you need to put up-to date, current information as of that date.

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:
