Hey you guys,

We sort of just registered a few minutes ago.

We are part of the IMBRA couples as well and we got our NOA2 notice via email August 1 too.

Errr...so the petition goes to NVC so we can get our case number right? And then it is sent to the embassy and then sent to us right?

So, how do we find out when the medical thingie is going to be and when the interview date is?

:help:

If you do your timeline, it will be a lot easier for us to give you any advice or answers to your questions. Things are a little different for different Consulates, etc.

Once you receive your NOA2, then your case is passed on to the NVC for processing and to receive your case number. The NVC forwards your case onto the Consulate where your interview will take place.

The Consulate will send the beneficiary "Packet 3" which contains all the information about the documents you need to gather for your interview and information about the medical exam.

After your have gathered all the required documents and had the medical exam, you return the checklist to the Consulate and they forward "Packet 4" with the interview date to the beneficiary.

Hope this helps.
