If I recall correctly, only one statement of how you met is needed. So either you or your fiance can write about how you met and include that in your package. However you will both have to provide statements of your intent to marry when you reach the US.

Hope that helps!!

Only your fiance needs to write How you met. It actually should describe the circumstances of you two having met in person in the last two years. I wrote a list of the documents I had included which were evidence of our meeting.

He does not need your birth certificate nor your police certificate for the I-129F filing. You do not need to translate them yet. You might want to translate them for the Visa interview for the actual K-1 Visa much later. I think Ciudad Juarez probably does not need them translated for the interview but you will want translations of those documents for use in the USA. Maybe you will need them for AOS later.

Good luck.

I would include one for the I-129F package. There's no need to get an RFE for leaving that out. Be sure to sign and date it.

The only documents that the beneficiary needs to provide with the I-129F petition filing are:

Letter of Intent

Proof of divorce final decree/ death certificate if previously married

Marriage certificate/ Deed poll documents if current legal name is different from name at birth

Signed G-325A x 2

Passport photo in 2x2 inch size

Everything else, police certs, birth certs, passport, etc. is provided with the visa application locally.

Remember, it's a 2 step process: petition then application.
