Event Description

Embassy Review : Hello guys!! Im sorry for my late review but here we go :D
We arrive at Juarez in August 30 at the Holiday Inn Express (10 minutes away from the airport), my fiancé make the reservation online a month a go . . the hotel is really clean and they are nice . . so we get ready at 5:00 AM for go to the "Clinica Medica Internacional" (5 minutes away from our hotel) ,is just next to the embassy in August 31 , i make line at 5:40 and i was so lucky , i have the number 27!
First you go to a window were they ask you for passport, vaccination and the letter of the interview, they keep all the documents , take a fast picture of you and put you a bracelet with a bar code.
Then you go to a bigger room, make line in all the different spots for the medical and i start with the blood test T_T . . then eye test , now with the doctor where they ask me for get naked T_T (female)and finally a chest X-ray.
Everything is so fast , so you need to pay attention in where they send you , in the final spot they ask you everything , you smoke?, do you have babys?, why not? . . etc
At the end they told me for go to vaccination T_T and there i was told , for K1 visa i dont need it . . so i was so happy :D they give me a lollipop and send me to pay the medical . . i pay in dollars and they gave me the change back in USD too , you can pay in pesos also. They gave me a ticket for pick the results at 2 pm same day. I finish all this at 7 AM!!! :D
We back at 1:40 and make line one more time (its more people there). Finally we go inside of the building and we make line for take the results , and i have to say that was so fast!!They are really nice too :D
So for the interview , i make line at 7:40 and i go inside really fast . . they take me back because i have a music card that my fiancé send to me in my package of "proof of the relation" , so i go out and i gave him the card, my lipstick and a mirror that i have to my fiancé.
One more time i go inside , a lady ask you for the appointment letter she keep it and gave me a number ,so i go to a big patio where is a lot of black chair´s and wait for my call . . the security guards call to all the lady's that are alone or with children´s and old people for go inside and i wait finally inside where is going to be the paper work and interview , thanks god i go inside in the AC , Juarez is hot!
I was waiting 2 hrs! , my letter said 8 to 10 so yep! i got my first call at 10 . . i go to the window and a Mexican lady ask me for my documents , and i have to said that she was really cool, she make me feel more comfortable .. i sign the documents that she ask me for, and she didnt ask me nothing so she told me i have to wait for a finger print . . i tough is going to take a wile so i go to the bathroom go out and i saw my number again!! So fast!!
I go to the window and is this American guy talking to me in Spanish , really nice :D he take my finger prints and that was in just 3 minutes!!
I go back and i tough (again) that im going to wait more so . . in less that 4 minutes i saw again my number!!
I go to the window and its an american guy really nice too! He ask me for raise my hand and swear that everything that im saying its true :D
He ask me , do you want that we do it in Spanish or English? . . i said in Spanish please
He read the letter of my fiancé send of how we meet , he start to laughing a lot!
HE said : So you meet him in a trip in Korea???
ME:yes i do :D
HE:Your fiancé its a really awesome writer you know? (he ask me all of this in English not Spanish and its because my fiancé and i speak English not Spanish i think)
ME:Thank you :D
HE:This is the best K1 history that i ever read!! (laughing)
ME:O.O (i was shock and happy)
HE:So what more do your fiancé do for living? . .
ME: he work in ++++++
HE: ok so you was in USA just a week right? any problems with the police?
ME: No Sr. any problems there i have here my visa that i was a child when i go there so . .
HE: No , no , no i dont need any documents , everything looks fine for me so . . my system is really slow now but if everything that you told me is truth you are fine , take this and pay in DHL.
ME:So its approved?
HE:If you told me the truth , yes i dont see any problem!
ME:Ok thank you very much!!!
HE:Are you going to Korea for a Honeymoon? :D
ME:No i dont think so
HE:Then just go to a Korean restaurant , have a happy life together :D

He gave me a form for pay DHL and i pay 102 pesos around 10 USD , they gave me the instructions for pick up the package and that was it!!!! Past for the 3 windows take 20 minutes or less!!! And i was out of the embassy at 11:30!!!!
Dont forget Bring with you the phone number of the hotel that you are staying at or other phone number that they can reach you , you need it for DHL information is NECESSARY if not they dont delivery your package. You can start checking the site the next day at 10 am.

We check the next day at 10 am (i know we should wait more ) and nothing . . and finally at 3:30 on internet we see VISA DELIVERY IS READY , my fiancé was so so happy :D me too but i still shock
And here is the black sheep . . we take a taxi from the Hotel and the driver want to take us to the border for get a stamp in the documents , they said is a requirement that we need . . he was pushing me so much for it!! And of course a charge for it ,60 USD!!!!!!!
We dont pay attention to him and i told him just to go to the DHL (15 min. from the Hotel)
I go inside and they open the package in front of me ,show me my visa (yes!!!!) give me the envelope that i have to give in the border or any airport and then the lady told me that i dont need to go to the border for get a stamp in my documents , that i just have to go there when im ready to go . . i told her about the taxi driver , she recommend me dont listen to them.
I go out and show him our visa :D . . the taxi driver ask me again for the stamp 2 more times!!!! . . i just say . .no!
We back to the hotel and the guy who controls the taxis ask me AGAIN if we get the stamp that we need it!! . . . i said no!!!! . . Jesus! -.-
You dont have to go until you are ready for cross to USA!! Dont listen to them!!
In the envelope said for which border we should cross.

So we go there on Saturday morning and we walk trough the bride! . . we pay from the Hotel to the bridge 200 pesos around 20 USD (15 minutes from the Hotel) . . if you want cross with the taxi is 100 USD!!
The taxi driver told me they wait for you and take you to your final destination but i think its to much anyway!!
Go to the windows that say PERMISSION , not to the window number 1 that is for residents , we do that i we make line 2 times -.-
The officer ask me if im ready for cross , i said yes , he said as soon as they open the envelope i cant back to México again because is just one entry visa , i say yes its ok so they open it , take my finger print one more time put the I-94A on my passport next to my visa , they told us for wait , we did it for 5 minutes call us back and we pay 6 USD more (we dont know why) we pay in USD . .
And we Cross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D We was in EL Paso Texas , my fiancé call a Taxi for take us to the airport and ready for go to Boston and this is it!!
Finally im with him in our new home:D getting ready for the wedding :D
I recommend you dont freak out in the interview day :D , you can see a lot of people that they are going to do their interview , remember they go at different kind of visa Everything is going to be fine for you :D
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Any questions , you can send me a msg in my profile :D
Thank you so much!!!!!!!

P.s

Next to the embassy is 3 Hotels close , HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS and MICRO HOTEL (i forget one hotel sorry >.<)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
